| Where shall I begin? I haven't really posted in a long time. Hmmmm well as most stories do let me start mine from the beginning. It all started back before I went on vacation with Bill and Jared.
At that time I was dating Kayla, everything was going fairly well for us until I realized one day that I felt like more of a Mother or a older sister than a girlfriend to her. I decided we should take a break and examine the relationship a little.
Right about that time I met this absolutely intriguing woman we talked a good bit and got to know eachother. Her name is Jessica she loves animals and basicially is EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a girlfriend. Soon we decided to meet up for dinner one night. We went to a restaurant near my apartment and had a very nice dinner and a drink. All the while chatting and just enjoying eachother's company. As the evening came to a close we went home and I walked her to her car. Knowing that it being a Sunday night that she needed to get home to rest, because she had to get up and go to work in the morning. I thanked her for dinner and the amazing company and I gave her a hug she kissed me and I couldn't say no. I wanted more than anything to kiss her before she drove off. I could have sworn it was already the Fourth of July because I saw fireworks. She drove home and I was giddy for a week.
We talked on the phone a bit daily. We decided to meet up the night before Bill, Jared and I left for vacation. Though she wound up falling asleep and not calling me back til after 10 that night. She invited me over to her apartment so that we could just sit and chat for a while. I drove over there rather willingly we sat and talked for hours and finally it was about time for me to be leaving and getting home when she asked me to stay the night. (Now for those of you out there who think this is about to turn into an erotic story I apologize for you are sadly mistaken) We went to bed and fell asleep in eachother's arms, I hadn't slept so well in months. I got up the next morning to her dressed in a business suit with her hair down and glasses on and might I say she looked amazing. I wanted to pull her back into bed and sleep the rest of the day. She smiled at me and we kissed and parted ways. I drove home and woke Bill and Jared up and we packed up and went on vacation.
The road trip to my sister's house takes about two hours. We were in the car on our way having a great time listening to music, debating about random things and just overall having fun. We were on vacation damnit!
Soon we arrived at my sister's house and carried all of our things inside. I hugged my sister and waited patiently for my neice to wake up. When she did she came running across the house, (you must understand the last time I saw her she was barely crawling), and leapt into my arms. I smothered her with kisses and hugs and we played.
We all decided to get into bathing suits and go to the dock. For those of you who don't know this my sister lives in a lake house just over the state line in Alabama. Anyhow, we all happily got into the water and swam, drank beer and sat in the sun for hours on end. It was fantastic. Later that evening when my brother-in-law got home he took us down to the dock and showed us the tricks to fishing after dark. I caught so many fish I lost count!
To make a long story a bit shorter this is basicially what we did everyday on vacation. We swam, drank, fished and hung out. Before during and after my sister, her husband, and my neice went on their vacation.
I spoke with Jessica nearly everyday, I kept asking her to come on a weekend when she could stay a night and have fun with us. She came out the first weekend we were there and it was great to see her, I was all smiles for the entire time she was there. When she had to leave I was a little sad but I had a good feeling I would be seeing her again. Very soon.
We had a few rainy days in the mixture, which pretty much sucked. We all just slept, read, watched movies and of course played on Myspace.
One day we decided to drive out to a place my sister had told me about called "Little River Canyon" it was supposed to be a great place to swim and walk around look at the mountains and lovely scenery. So we went! It was more than any of us had ever expected! It was GORGEOUS! We went swimming and looked at the waterfall. There was a very large swimming hole at the bottom of the falls and we saw people down there. Being the brave souls that we are we decided to go on a hike to find it. Boy did we ever find it. It was AMAZING! you could see straight down to the bottom at least 20 feet of not more. The water was cold and it was hot out so it felt GREAT!
Once it was time for us to go home, we packed up our things said our goodbyes and drove back home on the road to reality. It was actually quite depressing! The one thing that made me want to go home was seeing Jessica again.
Bill received a job offer while we were on vacation, he took the job soon after we got home. After I took him to work everyday I would spend my time job hunting. About this time he and I moved back into our apartment. Things were going well at that time.
Jessica had gone to the Bahamas just a few days after we got back from vacation. I was supposed to go see her before she left but there were some scheduling issues. Needless to say when she came home she was a bit upset with me for not trying harder. The night she got home I picked her up from a bar in Atlanta and went back to her house with her. This was also the same weekend as pride so I was still all "pridefl" lol. I proved to her that I would push other things to the back burner if she needed me. Which is what she wanted.
We saw eachother from time to time and about a week before the Fourth of July (the 28th of June to be exact) I asked her to be my girlfriend. I was so happy when she said yes. The night before the Fourth of July she and I went to my parents house to stay the night and hang out with them. I was nervous about her meeting them it was the first time I ever took a girl home who was actually my girlfriend and they knew. She was also rather nervous. Everything went fine and we had a blast we drank and goofed off.
The next day Bill, Jared and Max came up to shoot off some fireworks with us we ate dinner and as soon as it was dark enough the boys piled into the back of my Daddy's pick up and we drove out the dirt road to a nice secluded spot and shot off fireworks for a while. It was a lot of fun even though I burned my finger and Max tried to blow his hand up lol. We went back and soon after we left and drove home.
Jessica loved my parents and my parents loved her ( I knew they would) Within the next few weeks nothing major happened except the fact that Jessica is amazing and is doing everything to make me into the person I want to be. She is helping me get into school. She pushed me and helped me get a job. She is helping me to take care of things in my life I have procrastinated on doing and I love her for it. I love her for taking me under her wing and making me do the things I need to do in life. That of course is not the only reason I love her but you understand.
I have been working for EB Games for about a month now I love it! It's the perfect job for me. I get to goof off talk about video games and mess with people. What more could I ever want! Not to mention the inside scoop on a lot of things that most people don't get to know about!! What's more is that I am already up for a promotion! I have an interview this Wednesday! If I don't get the promotion I am going to have to get a second part time job but that is no big deal.
Also, more good news yay! Bill and I are to be moving out of the nasty apartment complex we live in on September 15th!! We got a great deal an amazing apartment and no deposit!! I am soooo excited!
Another awesome thing that is about to happen! My friend Morgan is getting married and she asked me to be her maid of honor!! YAY!!! So Jared and I are driving to Florida this weekend to go to the wedding!!! Bill is coming along because we are going to be right down the street from his family's house so he is going to see his friends and family while we are there. It is going to be so much fun!
Anyway, that pretty much concludes my story as of now. If you read all of this I commend you! If you didn't well... you pretty much suck and since you won't see this I can say it hah! |
